Prayer Dash TV is a prayer times display application for Android TV. This policy explains what information the app accesses and how it is used.

Information We Do Not Collect

Prayer Dash TV does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Specifically:

No account or registration is required
No names, emails, or contact information are collected
No location data is accessed or stored
No usage analytics or crash reporting is sent to any server
No advertising identifiers are used

Local Storage

The app saves the following preferences locally on your device only using Android SharedPreferences:

Selected mosque (stored as a URL to a public JSON file)
Selected background theme key
Selected adhan audio key

These preferences never leave your device and can be cleared at any time by uninstalling the app.

Network Requests

The app makes outbound network requests solely to display prayer times and stream audio. These are:

Prayer times data — fetched from publicly accessible JSON files hosted on GitHub
App configuration — mosque list, backgrounds, and adhan options fetched from the app's hosting server
Quran radio streams — audio streamed directly from the selected station's public URL when you choose to play radio
Adhan audio — played from the app's hosting server at prayer times

No personal information is included in any of these requests.

Third-Party Services

The app displays content through a WebView that loads from the app's hosted web page. That page uses:

Google Fonts — to load the Roboto typeface. Google's privacy policy applies to this request.
HLS.js — an open-source library loaded via CDN for streaming certain radio stations.

No other third-party SDKs, trackers, or analytics libraries are included.

Children's Privacy

Prayer Dash TV does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app contains no user input, accounts, or data collection of any kind.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated date at the top.
